My Dream, My Future

My Dream, My Future

Graduation is not the end it’s just the beginning of new life.

As a student it’s a part of our life to have a course to take up for the college life. These remaining days of my senior life I cannot still decide what course shall I take. As far as I know in all my subjects no one of them where I excel, they are all the same. I’m very confused up to this moment because I might get the wrong course, course that will not lead me to success but my parent says “awan ti madi nga kurso, ti madi ket nu haan mu nga padasen nga adalen ji innalam” this is very right but my point is that why should I get a course that I find hard if there is a course that is easy but another saying says “Success is sweeter when it’s obtained by hardwork”.

Based on the NCAE the courses that fits to my personality are those who belong in the investigative one, law, dentistry, business administration, nursing and many more. So I decided to take up business administration but my other classmates recommend that I should get accountancy, so for this time I’m still deciding. Hope that I’ll get the right one.

Get the course that fits to you! That will be yours?

Change: It’s Starts with Me

Change: It’s Starts with Me

You want to change the world? Oh! How can you change it if you yourself cannot do it in your own?

Change. Yes we need to do something, it seem that there is wrong. A very simple mistake that everybody is doing as if it’s the right thing. We need to alarm them!

As you feast on the surroundings during school days particularly during flag ceremony you can see many students staying in front of the library as if it’s their line during that time. Fortunately there are COLT’s and CAT’s persuading and forcing them to go to their respected places.

And as a student like them we must also go to our lines and go to school early and listen attentively, by those simple things you can change something and if you will influence other people surely we will change this world.

Kannawidan Festival

Kannawidan Festival

“Gagayyem ken kakabsat agkaykaysa tayo ta intay selebraran ti kannawidan”

Another Ylocos festival was again celebrated by Ilokanos. Festival that every citizen can be proud of. Celebration that bring back the old traditions of Region I from north to south and east to west. This event displays the native products of each town or known as One Town, One Product.

This year Kannawidan festival started last January 31, 2011 with a procession asking God to make this significant event very successful. Before the procession a mass was attended by the Provincial Capitol Officials and the Vice Governor of Ilocos Sur, Mr. Deograsias Victor Savellano after which a firework display lightened up the sky as the crown was saying “wow”. For the nexdt nights some celebrities came and entertained the Ilokanos. The main event of the festival was done February 5’s eve, “Saniata ti Ylokos”.

This is very significant, we must celebrate our own festival in addition to that we must endorse and proud of it.
