Viva Longganisa San Pablo Hey! Hey!
Longganisa Festival and the Conversion of St. Paul is here again. Let’s see how bigueňos celebrate their one and only Longganisa Festival.
As you feast your eyes on the surroundings you can see the smiles from the faces of every bigueňo celebrating their own festival. In connection to this last January 22, 2011 Longganisa Street Dancinbg and Showdown Competiton was held. Colourful native costumes were danced by the talented students from Vigan longing for the title and the Php. 100,000.
During September 25, group of people had a parade; there were big colourful floats, students in green coat and some celebrities. The crowd was very noisy saying “candy man””ditoy ditoy”, smiles can be seen in every faces.
This prestigious event is one of a kind; we must treasure all these things, hoping that this will not end this generation.
